Why this, and not another wedding platform?
AisleReply exists because wedding RSVPs are broken and everyone in the industry knows it.
Couples still chase replies by text, WhatsApp, phone, and reply cards. Numbers change constantly. Meal preferences get lost. Plus-ones are guessed at. The caterer wants a final number by Tuesday. The venue wants one by Wednesday. And with three weeks to go, the couple genuinely doesn't know.
Every big wedding platform tries to solve this by also selling you a website, a registry, a planning tool, a photo album, a discount honeymoon and probably an insurance policy. They're built to do everything for everyone, which means they do nothing exceptionally well.
We took the opposite approach. AisleReply does one thing. It handles RSVPs, better than anyone else. Then it steps out of the way.
Watching three sets of friends
panic in the same way.
Between 2024 and 2025, Andrew, our founder, watched three separate friends get married. Every one of them hit the same wall four weeks out: no idea who was actually coming. Different names, different venues, different budgets. Same anxious spreadsheet. Same late-night "Uncle Barry never replied" texts to the group chat.
After the third wedding, one of the couples said something that stuck: "Honestly the RSVPs stressed us out more than the wedding itself."
AisleReply was built for those couples. And every couple like them.
Doing one thing beautifully.
Every decision we make gets filtered through one question: does it make the RSVP process better for couples and their guests?
If yes, we build it. If it's a distraction, or it forces the couple to think about something they don't want to think about, we don't. That's why we won't ever be a full "wedding platform." It's why we don't do registries, or planning checklists, or wedding websites (though ours plays nicely alongside the one you love).
We think the world has enough wedding platforms. It needs one really good RSVP tool. That's the one we're making.
