Round-up

Best wedding RSVP options in the UK (2026)

There is no single best wedding RSVP tool. The right one depends on your guests, your budget and how much chasing you are willing to do. Here are the main options for UK couples, with what each does well.

Our summary: if you want a free wedding website with RSVPs, look at Joy, Bridebook or WeddedWay. If you want a free form and are happy to manage it yourself, Google Forms works. If your guests live on WhatsApp and you want replies, meal choices and reminders handled inside the chat, that is what AisleReply does.

Disclosure: this round-up is written by AisleReply, which is one of the options listed. We have tried to be fair, used each provider's own website as the source, and noted where we could not check something. Facts were checked on 22 October 2026 and can change, so please check each site before you decide.

Joy

Joy offers a wedding website, planning tools and a registry, which it says are free. Its online RSVP supports custom questions, including meal selections and allergies, multi-event RSVPs and guest messaging and reminders. Guests reply on your website. It is a strong choice if you want one free place for your schedule, travel details, gifts and replies. Read our AisleReply vs Joy comparison.

Bridebook

Bridebook is a UK planning platform with free tools. Its guest list lets you build a custom RSVP form, set a deadline, email it to guests and track dietary requirements and plus-ones across several events. Guests reply on your Bridebook wedding website by entering their name as it appears on your list. If you plan everything on Bridebook already, this keeps it all together.

Hitched

Hitched is one of the best-known UK planning sites and supplier directories, part of The Knot Worldwide, and its app includes a guest list manager. We could not load hitched.co.uk during our check, so we have not described its RSVP features or prices. If you use Hitched for planning, look at its own tools first. See AisleReply vs Hitched and Bridebook.

WeddedWay

WeddedWay is a UK wedding planner and website with a single free plan covering planning, guests, invitations, replies and a wedding website, with no adverts and no supplier marketplace. Guests reply on the wedding website using an invitation code. When we checked, new weddings were not yet open and the site invited couples to register interest.

Invyt

Invyt describes itself as a free RSVP tracker for any event. You share an invitation by email, text, WhatsApp, QR code or a custom link, and guests RSVP from there. It can collect meal choices and allergy information, export a summary for your caterer and send reminders. It is free to start with no card needed.

Cordially Wed

Cordially Wed is a wedding texting service. Messages go out from a Cordially number and guests can reply by SMS or WhatsApp into a shared inbox, with no app to install. You can add an RSVP link from your wedding website. It charges a one-time fee based on the number of guest phone numbers, listed in dollars, from $69 for up to 50 numbers to $249 for 201 to 400.

Google Forms

Google Forms is free with a Google account. You publish a form, share the responder link or embed it on a page, and replies can be saved to a linked Google Sheet. It is flexible and costs nothing, but you build the questions, send the link and chase the replies yourself.

Paper reply cards

A printed reply card still feels special, and some guests, often older relatives, prefer it. The trade-offs are printing and postage, slower replies, and typing every answer into a spreadsheet yourself. Many couples now mix paper invitations with a digital way to reply. Our guide to digital vs paper wedding invitations covers the choice.

AisleReply

AisleReply is a UK service where each guest gets a personal WhatsApp message and replies inside the chat, with no link, form, app or account. Meal choices, dietary needs, allergies and plus-ones are collected in the same conversation, guests can reply in 50+ languages, and you see a live headcount. Standard and Premium include scheduled reminders and a caterer export, and every plan includes done-for-you setup. It costs a one-off £149, £349 or £599 per wedding, and it is in private beta. It does not include a wedding website, registry or supplier directory. Read how replying inside WhatsApp works.

Questions

What is the best wedding RSVP app in the UK?

It depends on your guests. Joy, Bridebook and WeddedWay offer free website-based RSVPs, Google Forms is a free do-it-yourself form, and AisleReply collects replies inside WhatsApp for a one-off fee.

Is there a wedding RSVP service with a one-off price and no subscription in the UK?

Yes. AisleReply is a one-off £149, £349 or £599 per wedding with no subscription. Several website tools, including Joy and Bridebook, describe their core tools as free.

Can wedding guests RSVP on WhatsApp?
