AisleReply vs Hitched and Bridebook RSVPs

Hitched and Bridebook are UK wedding planning platforms with guest list tools, and Bridebook's tools are free. AisleReply does one job: it collects every reply, meal choice and dietary need inside WhatsApp. Here is how they compare.

Short answer: if you already plan your wedding in Bridebook or Hitched, using its built-in guest list and RSVP tools keeps everything in one place. If your guests are slow to fill in online forms, or you want the chasing, meal choices and dietary needs handled for you inside WhatsApp, AisleReply is built for that one job.

This comparison is written by AisleReply. We checked Bridebook's own pages on 22 October 2026. We could not load Hitched's own website when we checked, so for Hitched we have kept to what we could confirm and suggest you look at its site directly.

How Bridebook RSVPs work

Bridebook's guest list tool lets you build a custom RSVP form, set a deadline and email it to guests, then track replies, dietary requirements and plus-ones. You can set up several wedding events, import your list from a spreadsheet or CSV and export it for your seating plan. The wedding website is a separate free tool.

According to Bridebook's help guide, guests open your wedding website link and tap the RSVP section, with no login or download. They need to enter their name exactly as it appears on your guest list, then they can reply for their party and edit their answers later. Guests must be assigned to an event to find themselves. That is a sensible design, and it works well when guests are happy to visit a website.

What we could confirm about Hitched

Hitched is one of the UK's best-known wedding planning sites and supplier directories, and it is part of The Knot Worldwide. Its app includes a guest list manager alongside a budget tracker and supplier search. We were unable to load hitched.co.uk itself during our check on 22 October 2026, so we have not described its RSVP flow or prices here rather than guess. If you already use Hitched, look at its guest list and wedding website tools first; they may be all you need.

Where AisleReply is different

  • No website visit. Guests reply in a personal WhatsApp message instead of finding a link and typing their name to match your list.
  • Reminders are automatic. On Standard and Premium, guests who have not replied get a gentle reminder on your schedule, so you do not have to send the awkward "did you get my invite?" message.
  • More than 50 languages. Guests answer in their own language and you read English.
  • Done-for-you setup. The AisleReply team builds your event, imports the list and sets up the questions.
  • A caterer-ready export. On Standard and Premium you can download a spreadsheet with meal choices and dietary needs.

What AisleReply does not do: it is not a planning platform. There is no supplier directory, budget tracker or wedding website. You may well keep using Bridebook or Hitched for planning and suppliers either way.

Which should you choose?

  • Stick with Bridebook or Hitched if you plan everything there already, your guests are comfortable with an online form, and a free or built-in tool matters more than automated chasing.
  • Choose AisleReply if replies are slow to come in, your family lives on WhatsApp, you have guests who prefer another language, or you simply want someone else to collect and chase the answers.

AisleReply is a one-off £149, £349 or £599 per wedding, with no subscription. See the pricing page, or read our comparison of AisleReply and Joy.
